“An absolutely wonderful tour. While 95% of the tour takes place in Northern England and not Scotland it's beautiful. The countryside was in full bloom and vibrant. The visit to Holy Island was amazing. For me the highlight was Alnwick Castle. Not only is the exterior in perfect condition but the interior has been maintained and upgraded. What I did not expect was the artwork on the walls. My jaw dropped to the floor when I saw 8 paintings by Canaletto...8!! From speaking with one of the staff the Percy family had a close relationship with the painter over the years. In addition the Alnwick gardens is not to be…”

“We enjoyed Alnwick castle. Great grounds to walk around and the living quarters were very interesting to learn about. Lots to do with kids. We enjoyed Baumberg but were unaware the castle was not included. Also, the borders are not included if you were hoping to get a picture by the rock. Conner was a great tour guide filled with many interesting facts.”
